Rim-tempering:  This is not "just a feature".  A rim can chip if it is not reinforced or has unbalanced tension-compression ratios. Using mechanical heat-and-cold tempering, these glasses have hidden safety built in.

Shape and Form:  The double curved shape is designed to to create subtle ridges which make it look brighter and shinier. The size is perfect for small or large hands and we were impressed by how well that is achieved, as a result of the shape.
