Essential design and construction detail with you in mind:  Pure cotton throughout - percale shell, natural cotton fill, and lining. The unbleached Terry lining adds friction for a more secure grip. Good design includes such deliberate construction choice, not an afterthought. Cotton doesn't stiffen or crust with dealing with heat the way polyester does, and being hypoallergenic it won't irritate bare skin. The pocketed pot holder doubles as a trivet for moderately hot pots. Available as a set or, as two mitts.
