What is, or who are, Hem And Tassel???

Two names abbreviated?

Not quite. H&T isn't the result of two business partners shaking hands, nor is it a mysterious acronym. Since our journey began with textiles (as you’ll see in Our Story) , we named our store within that very context: Hem And Tassel

As you know from Textiles 101, fabric must be finished at the edges, or it frays and the yarn unravels.. We all know that simple fact. In our world, those edges are treated in only two ways: you either hem them for a clean finish, or you tie the loose ends together to create tassels. Only those two ways

Fireworks (The Little Bang Theory)

We started with this name to indicate that we’ve got it all covered—every edge stitched up and every loose end tied. As textile experts, our mission has been to ensure you get a serious product. We are not a boisterous team, but we have always guaranteed "bang for your buck"

How do we define that?

Simple. If you find the exact same quality elsewhere, you’ll find our prices are considerably more friendly. Conversely, compare us price-for-price against "the other guys," and you’ll find our product value and features in a different league entirely. It’s a win-win, really

The Evolution

Since 2019, H&T has outgrown the linen closet. We have naturally evolved. Supplying textiles to international markets brought us into inner circles of like-minded manufacturers - factories who have deep knowledge and experience - and who share our obsession for "value over price". Over the years, we’ve built relationships with traditional manufacturers to curate a collection of home essentials that we are proud to put our name on

The Growing Collection

Our story doesn't end at the border. You will notice new products quietly joining the ranks - items that have passed muster, cleared the bar, and measured up to our rather lofty expectations on your behalf

As we continue to grow, you’ll soon find H&T in new markets far beyond North America. We’re taking our "all-stitched-up" philosophy global, one perfectly finished edge at a time
